Goals for Year End!

Ok, 2 things I have recently found that I am addicted to
1. Reading other peoples blogs - they are so intersting!
2. Making scrapbooks with Smilebox.com it's so easy and fast.

Goals for the rest of the year:
1. post at least 2 new project a week one SU one other.
2. blog at least once a week
3. be on at least one design team!
4. be published (which means I have to create and send)
5. get a new avitar of moi!

Stampin' UP Convention

Hello,
I have had a wonderful vacation/business trip to the beautiful city of Salt Lake City, Utah. It is where Stampin' UP has their yearly convention. I had 3 roommates and they were wonderful! We all got along really well.
Stampin' UP Convention was AWSOME! It really got my creative juices floeing!hehe (My last name is Floe) There are so many changes for the good comming our way expressly by Stampin' UP!
WHO LOVES SIZZIX? Well Stampin' UP has teamed up with SIZZIX and will offer their very own dies and machine called "BIG SHOT" I am soooo very excited about this merger. I love Sizzix and SU! The dies are just to die for, they are better than anything I have seen in a long time. The BIG SHOT is very light weight compared to the red Sizzix machine.
Stampin' UP has also joined in the Home decor market, whith there very own Wall Transfers! They are really cool and they are easy to take off when you want a new look for your room. They even have stamps to match most of the Home Decor items! Here are some pics of them!

Stampin' UP Convention 2008

Yes, I am taking a picture of myself in the mirror! The Cake is made out of diapers! All the decorations on the dresser are for a baby shower for a little girl!

Decorated Candy Tin!

Here is the Tin that I made. Stamps- Boho Backgraounds (roses), Hostess Set-Time Well Spent, Paper & Ink-Brilliant Blue, DSP-Summer Picnic, Flower and beads are from the Pretties Kit, Tin is from the Dollar store.

Decorated Peg Board

The Peg Board- Stamps-All in the Family and Enjoy Every Moment, Paper-Purley Pomegranate and Soft Sky, DSP-Cutie Pie, Ink-Basic Black, Buttons-Bold Brights, Ribbon-Double Stitched Purley Pomegranate, coloring done with aqua painter, The corkboard adn flat head tacks are from the dollar store.

Easy covered Note pad

Here is a notepad that was done for the June club. It uses all Stampin' UP supplies: Stamp Set Enjoy Every Moment,DSP (Designer Series Paper), Rub-ons, Paper Sage Shadow, SO Saffron and Pretty in Pink, Certainly Clery Grosgrain Ribbon. It is a quick and simple project.

Paris Scrapbook LO

This is a scrapbook page that uses only SU products. It uses one of my favorite pictures of the Eiffel Tower. It uses Chocolate Chip paper, DSP-Berry Bliss and the black Rub ons are Love & Happiness from the Celebration Mini Catalog. Circles were all cut using the Coluzzle Cutting System and the scalloped edge is using the Corner Rounder with the guard taken off.

Enjoy Every Moment card

This is the second card for the month of April. It uses the Hostess Stamp set Time Well Spent and the Thank You is from Enjoy every moment stamp set and I used the Daisy Dash Jumbo Wheel. The paper is Whisper White and In Colors Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky. The ribbon is Striped Grosgrain-Wild Wasabi. The punch is from the Three for You Punch Box, The brads areBuild A Brad with Build a Flower put in the center. For coloring the flower I used the Water color Wonder Crayons and an Aqua painter.

Tart and Tangy Club card

This is a card for my stampers 10 club. It uses the stamp set Tart & Tangy, DSP Summer Picnic and the ribbon charm is from the hodgepodge hardware-styled silver. (All from the Occasions mini collection 2008). The background papers are the In Colors- Wild Wasabi, Purley Pomeganate,and Whisper White, Ink: Ruby Red, Old Olive, The apple on top has Crystal Effects over it, The circles are punched with the 1 1/4" punch and the scallop punche. Versamark was used with the dots from Boho Backgrounds.
