journal your Christmas dec 2nd

Todays prompt was to tell about what we want for Christmas. Here is December 2nd journal entry. I am doing my journal all digital so I can make it into a hardcover book. Here is what the journaling says " Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Sonw. . . All i rally want for Christmas is Snow! I love the Crispness of the air, the snow falling gently to the ground, building the first snowman of the season, playing with my kids outside (Jazzine, Bailee, Maggie, Rajah) and being snowed in and reading a good book and sipping on hot chocolate with a candycane inside it with mini marshmallows. That is all I want for Christmas.

Christmas Journal 2009

Hi, It has been forever since I posted last, but I am back and my first post is to announce I am taking a class called "Journal Your Christmas" by Shimelle over at 2peas and I am to journal my Christmas season. We get prompts every day of what we can journal about or we can do our own thing. I am going to stick to the prompts.

Here is my first journal entry for December 1st, It is about why I am creating the journal.

Here Is what my journaling says "Starting Today December first (ok its really the 3rd) I am going to keep a Christmas journal. In this journal I will write something in it every day to reflect on the Holidays of Christmas pasts, enjoy the holiday of the present. I want to capture my favorite family traditions and memories of the Christmas season.

More SU convention swaps!

Ok I have one more swap to complete and I am done! Oh did I mention I leave tomorrow? The Thank you card is for the SCS dinner swap. The dress and hand bag are for a punch swap, and so is the Ice Cream cone. I love the way the ice cream cone turned out, I think It needs some bling still so we will see.

Domino Frame

Here is a domino frame for convention I am making 6 this is for me! If you notice the word "frame" is upside down. OOps on me it is a stand up frame and yep I stamped it upside down. lol.

Popcorn Bowl

This is for the Stampin' UP convention. I have signed up for swaps and this is for a 3D one. I used the Home Decore Popcorn Rub-on and also added a Rub-on flower. I used some of the new IN colors for the wraping on the popcorn bag and some rafia to put in the bowl for decoreation then put it in a bag added ribbon and what a great gift it makes! I am really happy with how it turned out!

Yes I am a swap aholic and procrastinator to boot. I am just starting my swaps and I leave for Utah on the 1st of August. I have 50 card fronts, 6 Domino frames, 22 punch art card fronts , 11 big shot card fronts, 16 3x3 full cards, 11 card candy bundles with 6 pieces of card candy per package. Plus at least 100 card fronts for general swapping! Oh and there are also 3 roommates I have to make goodies for! So stay tuned for all the goodies will be revealed here first!

Smores!

This is the treat the kids get who go camping this weekend! The daycare where I work is on a campout this weekend so I made these bags of smores for each kid. We have 9 out of 11 families camping with us this weekend! I have plans so will not be camping, but I will go up tomorrow for the bbq.

Star Card

Here is a star card I made with a pattern from papercraftplanet. I love the shape of this card and that the top is where it opens.

It is really hard to get a good picture of my parents. They both don't like there picture taken and make faces. The bottom photo is on of my favorites. This was a day out at the park and they were sitting on some drift wood.
